Dr. Patricia Norris, MD
Dr. Norris is an experienced dermatologist in Portland Oregon. As a Board Certified Dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Norris provides expert diagnosis and treatment of all conditions of the skin, hair and nails for persons of all ages including children and the elderly.
Dr. Norris has bachelor’s degrees from The University of Oregon and Portland State University as well as a master’s degree from Lewis & Clark College. She earned her medical degree from Oregon Health & Sciences University and then completed her dermatology residency training at Oregon Health & Sciences University. She has been mentored throughout her training and career by one of the leading dermatologists in the world and contact dermatology experts, Dr. Frances Storrs.
Dr. Norris is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is Assistant Professor in Dermatology at the Oregon Health & Sciences University and is the Director of the Contact Dermatitis Clinic. She trains residents and medical students. She is active in the American Contact Dermatitis Society and is presently a board member. She is the president elect for the Oregon Dermatology Society. She is a current member and has previously served on the Board of the American Contact Dermatitis Society. She is a member of the International Dermatology Society and has traveled to Africa and Central America teaching and working with physicians. She is part of the OHSU Global Health Faculty and teaches physicians and other care providers general dermatology as they embark on their next career serving the poor in underserved areas and third world countries. Beyond work, Dr. Norris enjoys spending time with her husband and their five children and on weekends takes advantages of outdoor sporting activities.
